Dubai City is actually one of the most expensive cities to live in but the average income per capita outweighs the cost of living. Dubai city is home to the world’s largest collection of tallest buildings. These buildings are not only remarkable in stature, but there is a decided commitment to ingenious design. Dubai city is recognized as one among the fastest growing cities in the world. The city draws millions of tourists from across the world.

Dubai city is the main city of the Emirate of Dubai, which in turn is the second largest Emirate of the United Arab Emirates. One attraction worthy of mention is the Burj Al Arab hotel which is the only 7-star hotel in the world. Dubai city is now a centre for most of the banks and insurance companies of the U.A.E. Dubai city is a vibrant place with a seemingly endless energy. The hustle and bustle of the city is in stark contrast to the surrounding area which is arid and dry, as if the city were a desert oasis.

Dubai city is one of the fastest growing in the world and major construction projects constantly add to its impressive array of skyscrapers and high-tech buildings. The city's evolution from a collection of Bedouin settlements around the creek, to a modern city with over 500 skyscrapers and has been dramatic. Dubai City is the main city with most of its people living there. When you visit, you'll need a Dubai car rental. Dubai city is a bustling metropolis, while outside the city itself the Emirate is sparsely inhabited and characterized by desert vegetation. Dubai has a sub-tropical, arid climate.

Dubai City is located near the tip of the Persian Gulf and has historically been known as a port city that has benefited from its strategic location at the crossroads of trade and commerce between East and West. As is the case with many of the countries in the Middle East, Dubai has, until recently; relied on a trade based, oil dependent economy. Dubai city is not far either and the villa is extremely well located all round. Dubai City is definitely something out of a science fiction novel. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if you thought I was making this up!

Dubai city is built along the edge of a narrow 10-kilometre long, winding creek which divides the southern section of Bur Dubai, the city’s traditional heart, from the northern area of Deira. The Rulers office, together with many head offices of major companies, Port Rashid, the Dubai World Trade Center, customs, broadcasting stations and the postal authority are all situated in Bur Dubai. Dubai city is divided in two by the Creek, an inlet from the gulf that bisects the centre of the city. Around the Creek are some of the oldest parts of the town, and it is a fascinating mixture of ancient and modern. Dubai city is a fast growing city with swell in commercial activities, increase in population and the growing tourism. Estimates point that the city will attract 15 million visitors by 2010, and its population will reach 3 million by 2017.
